Description: A post-doctoral research position is available at the Harvard Center for Life Sciences, Division of Rheumatology and Immunology, Boston. The successful candidate will work in a NIH-funded laboratory that studies the cellular and molecular pathogenic mechanisms of inflammatory arthritis. Self-motivated scholars who approach research with a passionate curiosity along with an in-depth interest in state-of-the-art immunological techniques are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a PhD, MD/PhD, or MD with experience in molecular/cell biology and in pathway analysis in experimental animals. Candidates with demonstrated experience in bone / skin immunology will be preferred.

RESEARCH STAFF

Description: Osteoimmunology research lab seeks lab assistant to provide technical support and assist in lab management. Responsibilities include assisting in maintenance of daily lab functions, including biochemical and molecular biology assays, animal inventory and care, ordering of supplies/chemicals, and lab safety. The individual will have the opportunity to develop and work on special projects under the direction of the principal investigator. Knowledge of cell culture technique, basic biology, molecular biology and animal handling preferred.
